We didn't get handed anything when we arrived before 8:00am.. I don't even remember our tickets being checked, the windscreen sticker seemed enough. Whatever it was a great way to spend a day (and catch up with friends..)

All,
This is a (11 minute) video of the one of every car made part of the day. I hope you enjoy this and are not too sea-sick by the end. I am not Steven Spielberg

I had a green sticker as I was part of the Club Lotus stand and thank you AnneMarie et al for that. It also meant I could get away just before the world record crush for the exit...
I thoroughly enjoyed the day (kudos to Lotus) and I had a great 3h journey back home. I hope they do repeat next year.
Regards,
Peter

It was a delight to watch some of the online coverage, including the lap. Great seeing the Plus 2s! Anybody get a count of them? I think I spotted at least 6 in the lap.
Of course a bigger delight would have been to cross the pond and be there, but such is life sometimes. Maybe for the 80th?

There was strong talk of a 71st... the banner on the way out even said "see you next year".
The planned expansion at the factory includes a large visitor centre / museum ... so it does look like Geeley see the heritage as an asset.
Speaking to one of the Lotus Team (I was hoping to persuade her to part with one of the large banners) she said there were 3 more events relating to the "70th" and the banners were still required... I suggested e-bay for money to charity once they are done with and that seemed to go down well

Richard Cox, I liked your Sprint, looked nicely original.
I couldn't fail to spot the big key you use to wind the motor up, though ?

Regarding the number of +2s on the track, I didn't count them at the time but looking through my photos there were at least 9. Picture of mine below.

We were at the 70th.
Very nice weekend over all. Weather helped a lot. Having tickets too. But we made it with the 111S.
Sorry guys.

Some of you will recognise some of the places we visited, and will noticed than we looked at your Elan's...
Enjoy!
Christian.

Looks like you visited Orford on the Suffolk coast on the way to Hethel (Pump Street bakery always worth a visit)
