'fraid I haven't done anything with my elan for a few weeks, just give her a pat or two as I squeeze past to get some tool or oil or whatever to fix something on my mundane Renault or my house.

Shame on you Bill !!!! DRIVE YOUR LOTUS!!!

just yesterday, nearing last day of summer, took a drive in my Elan Sprint to a remote coastal town for a light lunch, and back home....all back country roads with a smile across my face.
I was actually just telling myself while driving, what a blast to drive such an historically significant "marque" like a Lotus around, getting flashes, thumbs up, turned heads.... Anyone can have a mass produced car (and there are many), but the rarity and exclusivity of vintage Lotus far outweighs any desire to drive some other classic.

Happy motoring!

Thanks, no pro job but solid and I am happy. At a ridiculous $220 for basic DC inverter flux welder and safely equipment I couldn't help but buy the welder...

Out and about in the S2 Super Seven this morning.

What better way to enjoy a 7, than with the kids!

Mazzini, or other S2 Seven owner, any chance you would be able to drop me a PM with the length of the front brake lines as I'm about to have braided lines made, current ones look to long and do not have banjo fitted.

Finally, finally (one hopes), got the chassis and shell bolted together. It was amazing how many times the bolts went in and out and the shell up and down. The roll bar went in easily, but the rest of the roll cage bits are a puzzle for now.

Finished the driver's seat and fitted to the car. With an evening to spare before it's due at car show!

Might even get to cleaning it of now...
