I had a small try dry ice on the Windscreenframe - micro-cracks all over the area. Horrible. After that I had the rest continued with soda - perfect result, Surface just into satin, even airbubbles survived. No gelcoat damage. Kind of ready to prime surface.

I have heard of that technique and meant to give it a try (setting up a dedicated setup), but did not get the chance so far : how expensive does it turn out to be ?

You can buy a small fairly simple kit from Frost. I did and will try it next week.
