I?m clearly not the worst, but in my 52 years with a license I?ve had almost 100 cars. The Lotuses though are much fewer:

1972 Europa Twincam
1972 Lotus Elan S4
1991 M100
Caterham 7
Contracted to buy 340R but
denied import to US
so got my money back

They look sensational, even today, drive and handle well simple to maintain with the obvious foibles of the rear drive shafts/susoension. The cabin is well equipped and once your inside, much like the 380, you just feel at home. A bit light at speed, but to be honest thats not what they are about. I think they handle better then Elans (sacrilege on this forum)

A bit harder to get into than the Exige tho....

Pound for pound just excellent, I'd do a deal with my Sprint against a genuine JPS Special if I could find one.

Px anyone???

cheers
Mark

I 'm a rank amateur with regards anything genuine Lotus.
Just the S3 which arrived this year.
Back catalogue of Caterhams and Westfields (1 with a twin cam headed 1700 x flow)
Thing is now I find myself looking at assorted sites deciding on what next...space is my main issue, however I think the other half is going to ban me from the eBay & piston heads just in case :D
