Independent inspection service in the UK?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to buy a car in Sussex, but since I'm from Germany it's rather tedious to go check the car - especially if it turns out not to be a good buy.

Are there any nation wide inspection services or local ones that you can recommend? I found some by googling but since I have absolutely no experience with the UK market in that respect, I'd love to hear your advice.

Christian you really want someone who knows Elan's rather than a general inspection service i would suggest you ask Neil Myers to inspect the car for you. Not sure if Miles Wilkins would do this he is close by
