Please be on the look out, this car was stolen in my locality 2 days ago:

classic car has been stolen from a property in a north Cumbrian village.

The blue Lotus Elan Plus 2 was taken between 7.40pm and 8.45pm on Sunday from Water Street in Glasson, near Bowness-on-Solway.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the car with the registration SNR 425G to get in touch with PC 2520 on 101. Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111.

that is why I have a tracker.....
They do work , I got called when my battery went flat lat month.. they thought someone was tampering....

I am pleased to say it's not my car

I don't have a picture of the car in question and surprisingly I don't know it (there are not many Plus 2's in Cumbria and I thought that I knew most of them).

My Plus 2 lives in a locked garage with the battery switched off via a remote solenoid so I am probably as safe as I can be.

Will post an update if I hear anything.
