according to the spreadsheet these ashtrays were standard up to end 1970 when they were replaced by fusebox in 2S/130

Not quite, the +2S style dash with the central ashtray and four warning lights continued for the first year or so of the S/130 production
The change in dash came with a complete revision of the electrical system from chassis 0732L onwards. As well as the dash layout, the under-bonnet relays and fuses were deleted/repositioned.

Bonnet bulge (for Stromberg carbs only*) Ive had 3 early cars and all with Bulge......and webers.....
and I know a couple of others with early cars with the bulge

Steel Wheels (black) with chrome embelishers....these were all steel with a clip on chrome edge
there were also Steel wheels with chrome rims fitted as part of the wheel.....permanent


have you checked the Trevor Sparrow site....he had alot of this stuff covered already......
there was also the paint codes list with all the ICI and Pinchin Codes.......on here somewhere
there was also a cross ref list as to where some of the parts came from........likewise... on here somewhere

A small thing but "Exhaust does 2no x 90 degree turns at rear" - should be a No for both federal bodied US and non US Cars - eg everything after no. 857 (US) 929 (everywhere else)
