Needle bearing fitment

PostPost by: how_lotus » Wed Mar 20, 2019 9:55 am

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how far a new needle bearing should be pressed into the rear of the crankshaft? I can't find anything in the manual and there appears to be plenty of room to press it in too far? Or does it not matter?

I've just checked a crank that came out of a virgin TC and the bearing is around 5mm below the flywheel mounting face of the crank.
