I have just bought and Elan S3. I woul dlike to know which are the original dampers for it and also if there are better ones. i would not like to do racing, just sporting driving.
Also I would like to know which are the most appropiate tyres for that car.
I would appreciate any information

I believe the originals are Armstrongs and work pretty good for your purposes but they need to be almost new. Many good brands out there like Koni and Spax. Check with any of the vendors for recommendations but ultimately, if you talk to five different people, you'll get five different opinions. A fresh set of any brand will be a good thing.

I would recommend the Tony Thompson fast raod set up. I went for their comfort spring rates as my car spends most of its time on the road so I did not want to go too stiff. However the dampers are fully adjustable which means that I can turn them up when on track days.
