Here's a "as I got the car" photo of my S3 Elan, just after pressure washing and leaving a huge oil slick down the driveway. The "26R" style flares are very noticeable, as are the California "black plate" license #'s cut from thin aluminum sheet and crimped to the front grille. (I still have the rear _original_ CA Black Plate). The car now carries AZ Historic Plate # 67T9. The second photo was taken during the suspension rebuild, new trunnions, new ball joints, new tie rod ends, new wheel bearings, one new upright (cracked), one new stub axle (stripped), all brakes rebuilt. (leaking) Just as the PO said, "it's ready to race, just add gas..."

Oh, and I'm not a big Champion fan, but the fender protectors were free....
