Here is a photo of an Elan at 1998's North Atlantic Road Racing Championship (NARRC) run-offs at Lime Rock Connecticut. This driver, from Massachusetts, was able to fend of V-8 Camaro's, Firebirds, Mustangs and Corvettes on Lime Rock's short and tight road course. It was fun to watch. Hence the name David and Goliath.
