Action: Lower mounting bushes are available and may be used in place of the original type.

Care should be taken when inserting the bush that it is square to the damper (see Fig.4). For this reason, we have given details of tools, to be made locally, that will allow the bushes to be inserted squarely and accurately (see Figs. 1 to 3 inclusive),

Old bushes may be removed by the use of the tools, but in the reverse way to fitting the new bushes.

NOTE:
  1. After removing old bushes and BEFORE fitting new, clean eye of damper with emery cloth (or similar).
  2. For ease of fitting, lubricate the new bush with a solution of soft soap.
